Etsy Jewellery

This is my first Etsy buy and the website has been around for a long time. I decided to give it a go and buy an ear cuff after I lost my Thomas Sabo ear cuff last weekend. After mourning my loss for two days (it was quite an emotional time, who likes losing stuff?!), I searched for a replacement on Etsy. I wanted something affordable and eye catching but not made of metal. There was so much choice! But these caught my eye. To make things even better, the seller had a deal, buy three ear cuffs at once and only pay for the shipping of one package. I couldn't say no.

These ear cuffs are subtle enough to wear in the office. They're sterling silver, gold-filled and rose gold filled (available here). ENJOY!

Mid-Season Prints

Dress - Mango // Belt Cyrillus

I would like to take this time to personally welcome back the Sun. It's been while seen I last saw and I don't know how long you'll stay, so I took this opportunity to ditch my coat and bare me naked arms! And it felt good.

I normally wear this dress without a belt, so it hangs loose. But this time, I thought I would remix things and cinch my waist. Adding a belt can do a lot. I feel like I got two styles for the price of one. Monochrome prints are a safe way of adding a little something extra to an outfit.

I need knitted blanket coat a la Burberry! But without the Burberry price tag please. I just want to wrap up and put on a fedora. You could even get your initials sewn on, just to let people know who you are.

Life Change

I’m a student again! I decided to go back into education – hopefully for the last time – to get my masters. Leaving a full-time job and going back to being a student will be hard to get used to, but if I didn’t take the opportunity I would have regretted it.

So now I’m blogging as a penniless student. I will be looking for a part-time job so I can continue to post about what to wear to work. But if I don’t get one, I’ll post anyway. YOLO!

Navy and Black

Top - 123 (similar) // Trousers - New Look // Shoes - Clarks (similar)

I have a thing for navy and comfort. And ankle cleavage. If it's not too cold, it's always nice to give your ankles some fresh air.

As we move into Autumn/Winter, I'm leaving a blazer at work and wearing my big winter coat for my commute. I hate being cold and I hate being too hot on the tube, so the big coat works for me. I take it off on the tube and get to show off this lovely blouse. Subtly patterned blouses just add an extra something. They're not a loud as graphic print and make people take a second look. Is that a print? No, it's a pattern on the actual blouse. Yes. Blow their minds.

Wanted this October

Winter is coming and I have accepted that fact. But I'll need all of the above to get me through. I never wanted to wear an all-black outfit to work but the rose-tone jewellery adds warmth to the outfit. And have you seen that bag?!  Orange is my new everything, so I need this bag in my life. Yes, you can't wear a hat in the office, but you can look fabulous as you walk through the office doors. After all, the little things count too. I would add a pair of black tights though, it's cold out there.
